The Shackleton Award is given each year to our final official finisher. You have to make the time cut to be eligible. We celebrate those at the pointy end but also those that overcame adversity to just finish a grueling day on the bike.

What do you get? Well to start, GLORY!!!! After that, does it really matter? Of course it does so you get a custom Orange Mud transition towel embroidered with your glorious award! Then the real joy. For every degree it is under 40F at the finish we will chip in $10. So if it is 30F, you get a cool $100 … you get the point! If the weather is extreme the award is too!
